Our top 10 absolute favorite playgrounds in Berlin
Neukölln / Britz: This is the largest playground in Berlin, with the most variety in play equipment. Even in the park around it, there are things and attractions hidden everywhere.
Schmargendorf: About tripple the size of standard rope pyramids - this is just insane! Definitely a challenge to reach the top, even for adults.
Kladow: You can find this hidden pirate hideout right at the harbor of Kladow, just a short boat ride away from central Berlin. There is much more to discover here than just the ship wreck!
Rudow: In the very south of Berlin, at the border to Brandenburg, you can find Berlin's biggest castle. And maybe even the best playground in Berlin.
Friedrichshain: By far the most unique and well build dragon on Berlin's playgrounds. Also very central with many cafes and shops around.
Schöneberg: The one and only original Circus Aladin - amazing playground with life size circus tent and elephant!
Schöneberg: A very unique style castle with many different types of activities for the children. Also the perfect place for a picnic, as the playground doesn't have a fence.
Schöneberg: Kids love to play firefighters and police, so it's really surprising that there are so few playgrounds with this theme. But this one is really great and very big.
Kreuzberg / Schöneberg: Probably the playground we revisit most often, as Gleisdreickpark just offers so much variety - there are skateparks here, beer gardens, nature playgrounds, old abandoned train tracks. Just amazing!
Dahlem: This is one of the newest playgrounds in Berlin - and its colorful and beautiful! The park around it is also nice with a bunch of more play and sports equipment.
