We found 18 water parks within 150km of Berlin. Of course Jari and I couldn’t visit and review them all – we have only been to 2 of these yet. So we used our well-proven method and compared all online reviews from several popular websites – and created an aggregated review score.
As most of these water parks are far outside of Berlin, we also checked how long it will take to get there. We always used Alexanderplatz as a starting point.
From all the places we have analysed, here are our top 5 picks based on distance, review score, and excitement level.

Places we would not recommend
Blue Potsdam has the worst ratings of all water parks we reviewed with an average score of 3.00 . People complain about high cost, long lines, bad food, broken equipment.
Stadtbad Lankewitz and Wellenbad am Spreewaldplatz both are conveniently inside of Berlin. They are also both reasonable priced. But our guess is that the negative reviews (3.56 and 3.37) come from the lack of main attractions and crowds of people.
Freizeitbad Schwapp looks amazing on the pictures, but reviews are mixed and negative (3.58) . Ticket price of 20 € / adult are also hefty.
